This place makes some awesome crepes and flat cakes. Great place to sit and eat after a long day at the palace of Versailles. We recommend the apple caramel cream crepes for dessert.Fast and friendly.Also, they were open before many of the other restaurants on the street.

Best experience ever!Chanced upon this relaxed place with my daughter and found it popular with locals for being good quality and value. The owner is renowned for his cheese, wine and meat quality and affordability. He was extremely welcoming and ended up sitting down and inviting us to join a celebratory group delighted to prove that French wines are the best.

Great meal. Great service. My food was perfect. We ordered bavette sauce marchand de vin frites, medium. One of our party felt their order was ever so slighlty over done. The owner asked us if our food was ok? When he learned of the discrepancy, he immediately began to prepare a replacment, and the chef personally brought out replacment to the table. Fantastic service.Would highly recommend.

Went for late lunch and they squeezed us in after chateau de Versailles tour. Very tasty although I don’t like sunny side up egg on my crepe or gallette or buckwheat crepe. Nice fresh OJ.

Visited this lovely establishment today with my boyfriend after visiting the Palace of Versailles. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming. After we sat and placed our order for dinner with Chez Barat who saw to it immediately and catered to other customers simultaneously with the upmost care. This gentleman, who appeared to be working alone, was bussing tables, cleaning dishes, preparing our food and our drinks. The food was delicious and we left feeling full and happy. I would likely visit again and would recommend it to a friend. If you’re in the area definitely check it out. Don’t leave without trying a crepe, there are extremely delicious!
